No. For Singapore domain names, those ending with .SG, these are the
restrictions by Singapore Network Information Centre.
COM.SG is only for commercial entities which must be registered with
Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), formerly known as
Registry of Companies and Businesses (RCB).
NET.SG is only for network providers and info-com operators in Singapore which
must possess a valid licence issued by the Info-Communications Development
Authority (IDA).
ORG.SG is only for organisations which must be registered with the Registry
of Societies (ROS) including other miscellaneous organisations
(eg. Town Councils, Community Centres, People's Association and
Embassies.)
GOV.SG is only for government organizations like Ministries, Organs of
State, and Statutory Boards.
EDU.SG is only for educational institutions which must be registered with
Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore.
PER.SG is only for individual personal use and strictly not for
commerical use.
For international domain names, those ending without a 3rd level domain
name (.COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .NAME, etc), there are much lesser restrictions. Generally,
.MIL are only for military and .GOV are only for government use.
Other then that, you are most probably able to register for your choice
of domain name successfully.
You can check with the respective domain registrars or simply enter
the domain name without the "www." prefix below.
